Amazon, the world leader in online marketplace is slowly and steadily expanding its wings in India. Few days back they launched their bags & luggage category and today they have announced the launch of Sports, Fitness & Outdoors Categories. They have now inched one step more closer in terms of product range to their major competitors Flipkart and Snapdeal.
Under this category Amazon India would be selling a wide range of sporting products ranging from Cricket, Tennis, Badminton, Football and much more. The range looks quite attractive in terms of fitness products as well that include gym accessories, expanders, trimmers and the list goes on.
The range looks good in terms of brand availability as well, they are featuring almost all top sporting brands such as Yonex, BDM, Quechua, Spalding, Victorinox, Cosco and over 150 more brands.
With this launch, Amazon has closed quite near to Flipkart and Snapdeal in terms of categories and product range (major categories pending are Clothing & Footwear)
